Pump Tubing Applications: Laboratory
Pump tubing is used for a variety of laboratory applications. These applications require pump tubing with superior chemical resistance, fluid transfer rates and pressure ratings. Because many laboratory applications require stringent analytical testing, it’s imperative that the correct pump tubing is selected. Several of these applications include:
Chromatography Sample Analysis: A process in which a chemical mixture carried by a liquid or gas is separated into components as a result of differential distribution of the solutes as they flow around or over a stationary liquid or solid phase
Reagent Dispensing: Dispensing a substance used in a chemical reaction to detect, measure, examine, or produce other substances
Nutrient Delivery to Cell Culture Media: The transfer of nutrients to a liquid or gelatinous substance in which microorganisms or tissues are cultivated for scientific purposes
Filtration Systems: The process of transferring a fluid through a filter
Peristaltic Pump: A type of positive displacement pump used for pumping a variety of fluids
